This rock-solid 3-in-1 parka is legendarily hardworking. Recently updated with Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining for even more powder-blasting warmth, it offers fantastic value for weather-busting warmth and protection. The shell is fully loaded for a long day on the mountain, featuring waterproof breathability along with critical seam sealing. The sturdy nylon liner doubles as a sleek lightweight jacket when worn alone. With an Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining and 100g of Omni-Heat insulation, it provides insane warmth in a lightweight package. Plus, clean lines and a high collar make this liner ultra-versatile, while Omni-Shield technology means it sheds water and repels stains. The snap-back powder skirt on the shell blocks unwanted snow and then tucks out of the way when not in use. Other thoughtful details include super-soft Chamois Touch Tricot collar and chin guard to protect the face, a media pocket with internal routing for headphones, and stealth glove loops at the cuffs. Stash goggles in roomy interior pockets, get toasty with two external hand-warmer zip pockets, and store valuables in a zip pocket at the chest for easy access. If present close hook and loop fastener, machine wash cold permanent press, powdered detergent, rinse thoroughly, wash separately, do not bleach, tumble dry permanent pess low, iron low, do not use fabric softener, if present do not iron decal, do not dryclean.

Without question one the warmest coats you will every buy. The true test for this parka was on a ski trip this past season and it exceeded my expectations. After two runs i began feeling hot due to the metabolic heat built up from snowbaording requiring me to remove the internal liner and just wear the exterior light weight jakcet . Even then after about 27 minutes of snowboarding. i had to open the side vents in order to cool down after each run trying not to sweat . The high of the day was 28 degrees Not exactly blistering cold but not warm either and to only require the outer most material after 5 runs in order to keep from sweating i believe this jacket performs exceptionally well. On the average daily use as a jacket this park also performs well , mighty mother nature blows her hardest but you still feel warm and toasty inside with no intrusion of cold air. It is always funny to walk in the city and see people with their "designer coats" double the worth of my coat yet they shiver like jack rabbits in an effort to keep warm . As a every day commuter and peak climber this parka will not disappoint . You can ignore mother and grandmother advising to wear undershirts. on this one No sweaters or any extra under garments necessary such as "sweaters, undershirts, long johns" I snowboard in a short sleeve polo, only wearing the outer light jacket in 28 degree weather, This jacket is warm!.Note on care- The white accents on the abyss color look real nice but after a season of use your trims become yellow especially around the inserts for your hands , neck portions in which reflect yellowish stains from sweat and the long white portions will get tinted a couple shades from the pretty white in which your jacket first had when it came. You cannot dry clean , wash with heat , and must use gently cycle which pretty much removes any type of abrasive washing techniques to remove stains . But there is a soution !!! To get it looking like new you need shout stain remover , a clean 5 gallon bucket tide and oxyclean . To get the white accents looking 100 percent again you will have to soak and hand wash your jacket before putting it in the machine. Liberally spray shout stain remover onto all soiled areas , Using your five gallon bucket fill it half way with BARELY LUKE water (So that you don't put your hands in cold water to wash) , pour half a spoon of oxyclean and a tid pit of tide in your bucket . Stir around until all solutions are dissolved. Now you dip your jacket into the water and begin hand washing rubbing portions of your jacket together to agitate and lift the dirt from ts surfaces. Avoid wringing because it will cause excessive wrinkling and become more prominent in the drying phase takes . Wash repeatedly for 25 minutes Let your jacket soak for 10 minutes . Pick your jacket up and review your work . Are your white accents white yet? if not continue washing and allow more soak time. After you inspect your jacket and it is nice and clean put it in the washing machine and wash as normal with cold water using a much smaller amount of soap considering that it has been soaking in soap for an extended period of time. When it is time to dry put your dryer on the lowest setting possible for approximately 35 minutes. This will not dry your parka completely but will remove over 85 percent of the water and leave the integrity of the reflective liner in tact, Due to the variation in temperature from different dryer machines i would recommend checking on your parka at the 25 minute mark .Your parka should never be hot in your hands just barely warm . It is much wiser to allow your parka to be a little wet rather than burned to a crisp.! If you have a clothes line it is even easier seeing as all you have to do is put your parka on a hanger and let it naturally dry in the sun. To remove any wrinkles i used a
